It is with immense pleasure and pride that I welcome you all to the MIDCIPS 2026 being held in the vibrant city of Chandigarh "the City Beautiful", on 22^nd and 23^rd Aug 2026.

This year, our theme is "Polypharmacy: rational , irrational and beyond" reflects the goal " to use medications for the clinical needs which are evidence based and to minimize ADRs, reduce medication burden, and improve quality of life" of our patients. According to WHO evidence based studies suggest that no medical professional can hope to remain competent for a few years after graduation & post graduation, without a program of active learning. MIDCIPS provides this opportunity.

With the collaboration of the organizing committee and beyond the intense academics, we are expecting a memorable, warm, and engaging experience that will allow for networking and collaborative discussions I congratulate the Organising Committee, under the leadership of Dr. T. S. S. Rao ( President IPS) , Dr. O.P.
